The Brown's are headed home! At least we are trying to get out of here. Dr. Crim came this morning in laid out the plan for us. He was very thorough and was so good to answer all of our questions. Many last minute details will probably take into the afternoon to complete, but I think we are getting it all together.
We are still getting very good reports from Austin. Justin is off of his pain pump. I think that is good because he was really creating some stories he might have to hear about for a long, long, time. He now gets to eat cream of wheat for breakfast and is up walking in the halls. It sounds like his recovery is starting off pretty remarkably. We are so blessed.
See you all in Scotland.
Love and many, many thanks to all of you for your tireless praying. God is good, Missy

What Great News. I know getting home will be a big relief.Just being in his own bed will make Mark feel 100% better. & to have the kids there too!! (And I think "THE HOUSE" has healing powers) I always thought the mornings were so very special there.

Hurray from the crew in Pflugerville! We are so glad that Mark is now back home.
Also, thanks so much for sharing the space on the blog and all the medical info. This came on so fast for us, I don't think we realized what happened. Justin is doing well and much more coherent today since the IV is out. I am here sitting beside him. He scavenged the five piece chicken nuggets this afternoon, but I think it got in the way of the "delicious" hospital food they brought for supper. He is now resting and watching a movie.

That is wonderful news, we prayer continously for Mark and the family. God has answered many prayers and thanks for keeping everyone informed of how Mark is doing, for those who grew up with Mark and his family who are very dear to us. Please tell Mark and the rest of his family we said hello. We will keep the family in our prayers.

God has really been good to our families. There have been rough times but God's power prevailed. We are thankful that Dusty is doing so well, my how life can change in such a hurry. It doesn't matter if it is cancer, injury or illness we can certainly have our plans changed for us but we can always know this one thing....God is in control and His strength is perfect when our strength is gone, He will carry us when we can't carry on, because we are raised in His power because His strength is perfect.
We sure had fun at CiCi's pizza today. Austin, Landon and Abby are such a joy to be with.
Love you bunches,
Lil Sis
