Good Morning

Hello all,

Yesterday Mark went to see the oncologist. He got a plan for the next six months. He will see Dr. Thomas (surgeon) on Monday to have a port placed for his chemotherapy infusions. He will do that as an outpatient surgery here in Wichita Falls. He will start his treatments within a couple of weeks after that. He will get chemo infusions every two weeks for six months. There is a little bit of question as to whether that will be done at the hospital or via a pump at home. We will know after I discuss with the insurance. The treatments will also be in Wichita Falls. He will receive a three drug combination with his infusion. He was assured that it was the best treatment, and we will also follow up through our Baylor connections to have another confirmation of that plan. We are supposed to go to "Chemo School" prior to starting to learn more about the specifics of administration and effects of chemo and techniques for dealing with those. More smarts!

Mark is doing well. He is not 100% percent, but is feeling better each day. I know he will be better when he can drive, and I sure will too. He is the worst backseat driver riding shotgun. I will have to get a more recent picture of him so you all can rest assured that he also looks good. He is hearing that a lot lately. I think it could be going to his head! That's okay, keep it coming!

Thanks for checking in. We love you all, Missy
