Hello all,
Well I am really needing to catch up here. So much has happened over several days. The weekend was a challenge for Mark's dad. A combination of medications, sleep deprivation, surgery and lengthy hospital stay were really messing with his mind. Thank goodness that has passed. He is resting well now and they are talking about some outpatient rehab. The bad news is that they still don't know what started all of this in the first place to figure something out and know best how to care for him.
Chemo #4 is tomorrow. Mark loaded up at the Survivor meal in Windthorst tonight. I think Grandpa was a little surprised at his appetite. He was offering Mark his food too. He does try to pre-load to make up for the next several days. He had his CT scan today to monitor his heart. We will have that report pretty quickly.
We enjoyed getting to see Mark's family at the birthday party this weekend. We are so lucky he is able to keep going. God is good.
Hope everyone is planning to come out to the Relay for life this weekend in Archer City. It will be a big time. The meal tonight was a nice treat. Dorothy Scobee spoke and gosh, if you ever are feeling sorry for yourself, you need to visit with her. Now she has been through some difficult times.

Tell Mark I have 2 totes of Little Debbie Snacks...if he gets a sweet tooth at the Relay for Life !
