Hello all, chemotherapy #3 ends tomorrow. Again, it has been somewhat uneventful. The usual cold sensitivity and some neuropathy so far. We are so grateful that he is doing so well. Things have been so crazy that we can't imagine what we would do if he were unable to keep going. God is taking such good care of him. We are still waiting on a script to have his CT scan done to check his heart. We should be able to get that done next week.
We could use some extra prayers for Mark's dad. He is having many tests run to figure out the cause of some breathing difficulties he has been having for several weeks. There are many question and not many answers so far. We are just praying for God to give the doctors the wisdom to treat him appropriately for his complete recovery. And for Him to give the rest of us patience as we wait for them to put all of the pieces together. Granddaddy is in good spirits, telling everyone how "good" he has been. I tried to get him to scoot over in his bed so I could get some rest too!
Also, Mary could use a few extra prayers. She lost her mother this week after many difficult weeks. May God comfort her during such a trying time, and let her be open to know the He is holding her always, even when she feels it the least.
Many thanks to all of you for your endless committment to continue supporting us on this journey. You are all wonderful. Love, Missy.
