The pump is on.

Treatment #5 is almost half over. New side effects this week - visual disturbances. Mark says he has had some focusing trouble since yesterday. His hands seem to be more sensitive as well. He might have to wear his gloves around the clock. He did get a little rest yesterday afternoon. Overall he is feeling fair and hanging in there. He did get his perscription for potassium three times a day, and as I suspected, he was ecstatic about that! He really didn't complain too much, just was really impressed with the size of those pills!

More as it comes to me, Missy.

Courage is fear that has said its prayers.
Mark you are showing such courage and determination we are proud of you. Missy you are the stronghold that gives him courage. Keep the faith.
I am here if you need anything, I just don't know what to do but pray. I love you guys.
Tell Landon I loved seeing him play ball the other night. Austin you are not too big to give aunt Cindy a hug in public...well nearly. Abby you are just precious to me.

One of my favorite songs is "His Strength Is Perfect" It says His strength is perfect when our strength is gone. He'll carry us when we can't carry on.."It is our joy as your family to lift you (Mark, Missy, Austin, Landon, and Abby) to the Father and to intercede for you. May God give you physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional strength. In your struggle to keep your life as normal as possible, there will be days that are not normal. Those are the days that you draw on God's wisdom and peace as you let His peace sustain you in the midst of the storm. Draw close and be honest with each other as a family so that you can grow in God's strength together. You are a joy to my heart. Mark and Missy, draw on each other's strength as you draw on God's strength. Mark, let Missy be strong for you when you are weak, and Missy let Mark be strong for you when you are weak.It will continue to be our privilege to lift you all to our Heavenly Father and intercede. I love you so much! Big Sis

Missy,a comment on the POTASSIUM
PILLS (the size of horse pills!)
I take them toooo!
If our Dear Mark has TROUBLE
getting the OH SOOOO LARGE PILL
(it is a pill isn't it?) down...
put it in a spoonful of water, watch it dissolve...then put it in a TABLESPOONFUL OF ICECREAM..or maybe a CUP or Bowl or a LARGER
container of ICECREAM and he will
have NO PROBLEMS ! ! !
I HATE THOSE things.,..ya gotta be sure and take a big drink of water before & a big drink with the pill and swallow it fast before it starts to disenigrate in your mouth!!!!
Mark, I guess if need be we can always get one of those contraptions David uses on his cattle to get those big tablets down their throats !!! Just as a last resort?....ya know I am always
willing to lend a "help"?#@#?ing
hand !!!
Just thought I would drop by to give ya a hard time.
DID IT WORK ??
HANG TOUGH. LUV YA LOADS

You are always on our hearts and minds. It was great to see you at Aunt Nena & Uncle Bobby's. We love you, too, even if you do keep wearing all that "Trojan stuff".
