Chemo is 50%complete.

I am really bad for letting this go, but Woooohoooo. Mark is halfway through his chemo treatments. He went last Wednesday for treatment #6. He did really well with it. We are not sure if it was really the week off or if they adjusted his dose as well this time. We were having a few communication issues at the clinic where he gets his treatment, so the last couple of weeks has been a little challenging. Hopefully, we have that resolved and we can get back to focusing on Mark and his cure. His side effects this time were similar to probably his first or second treatment. It hardly slowed him down. We accomplished everything on our schedule this week. All ballgames went off as scheduled. The kids did really well with all of them enjoying much success. We finished the week with a great Mother's Day at Mark's parents and at mine. We visited a church in Monday and got to hear Mark's nephew preach. What an uplifting day! Of course when he goes home, he knows everyone and they are always so glad to see him. That in itself is enough to raise your spirits. You should have seen God working in that room with all of those friends and family praying for Mark. Not only for the blessings we have already received, but what He still has left to do. Very powerful! It makes me feel really honored to be a part of it all.
We are blessed.
Mark's mom fixed a wonderful meal, perfect for filling our bellies before a good nap. The trip to Munday warmed our hearts as always. We even got to come back to mom and dad's to spend the rest of mothers day with them. We ate lite, as they had also enjoyed mother's day at Nelda's a little earlier. Sorry Nelda, we heard we missed a wonderful time and good food! We returned home Sunday night. Unfortunately, while the tooth fairy did visit our house this weekend, the housecleaning fairy did not! Oh well, lucky for me, I have learned to "let it go". It will always be there when I return right? If only I didn't require any sleep, I would surely get caught up!

Much love to all, Missy.

Here we are again,at mid-week...
where does the time go ??
Seems just like yesterday that this ole house was a bustin' at the seams. Has been VERY BUSY at the store...college finals left us with "ZERO" that's zilch, zip, nada,
none employees today. 1 pharmacist,1 tech and 1 clerk. About 4/4;30 the clerk received a call...son being taken to ER!!!! SOOO guess what ??? That leaves 1 pharmacist,
1 TECH(ME)! All I could do was start to LAUGH!! So needless to say my "DOGS ARE A BARKIN' !!" AND I CONTINUED TO LAUGH. Of ALL the healthy employees that we have, Chuck (that's my Boss,GOD LOVE'M) was left with a "CRIPLE" {that's ME !!) AND I CONTINUED TO LAUGH !!
I guess I am laughing because of the "irony" of it all. I am the least "EFFICIENT" because of the
Parkinson's but......I seem to have a lOT OF STAMINA !!! HAHAHAHA
GO FIGURE !! STILL LAUGHING !
We worked until about 7pm. Was about a 13 hour day for this gray haired ole lady !!
As Mark's SIS Said
God IS GOOD !! HE takes care of us !!
Hope all ballgames turn out as you wish !
My Love to ALL
Time to catch a FEW ZZZZZZ's

Missy and Mark,
Glad to hear that Mark is doing well following his treatment. Missy, thanks for taking the time out of you busy schedule to keep us updated. I so look forward to hearing from you. Enjoy those kiddos and their activities. They grow up way too fast. It seems like yesterday that Austin was a wee tiny baby and he will soon be another year older.
Hope you have a great week

Missy and Mark, So glad you all are 50%. Wish we were that far along. Missy, I admire you for all you do with your family and work. The sitting at the hospital waiting for the fluids to be given has been harder on me than other things. Michael finished his "red devil" today and the fatigue his him before we got from the hospital to the parking garage. Sure the counts are going down fast. We will continue to lift you all up in prayer and just know you are still my angel for visiting with us that day at the hospital. Love to all. If you talk to John and Ina tell them their cousin thinks of them often. Terri Wipperman

So glad that you are half way there. You guys are such an encouragement to all of us and I know everyone in Munday enjoyed seeing you guys and getting to love on you. You have so many prayer warriors in your families alone and the I know you have great friends too, so we are going to beat this stuff with God's help. Hope the rest of the treatments go well for you and that the kids keep doing well in their games.
Love you all and can't wait to see you again.
Laurie
